FAQ
What's the battery life, and can I replace it?
The Moko Tracker's battery is built-in and non-removable. It's designed to last up to 5 years on Android and 3 years on iOS.
When it reaches end of life the entire tracker should be disposed of per your local e-waste regulations — do not attempt to disassemble, crush, puncture, or expose it to temperatures above 75 °C.
Can I share it or transfer it to a new account?
Yes. Perform a factory reset on the tracker (double-press, then hold the button for 5 seconds until you hear four beeps) and it can be linked to any new Google or Apple account. If transferring to a new Apple account, you must first remove the tracker from the previous Apple account in the Find My app on the original iPhone — this is an Apple requirement, not a Mokobara limitation. After removal, the new owner follows the standard setup steps.
Which phones & networks does it work with?
The Moko Tracker works with both Apple and Android devices. On iOS, it connects via Apple's Find My network; on Android, it works through Google's Find Hub network. During the initial setup you choose one network — the tracker cannot run on both simultaneously. Switching networks later requires a factory reset. All you need is Bluetooth enabled and an active internet connection (Wi-Fi or cellular) on your phone.
