Shipping
We currently ship to all the major cities in India. Our goal is to bring MOKOBARA products to the whole of India.
Send us an email to hello@mokobara.com if you are from any other part of the country and we will try our best to ship our products to you.
We offer free shipping to all the major cities in India. To other parts of the country if we do ship we will charge a nominal shipping fee.

Flat Shipping fee - Rs 200
We are currently taking pre-orders. All confirmed orders during the pre-order phase will be shipped on 20th January.
For orders placed post 20th January:
Here’s how it'll work:
1) You place an order online, then we process it.
2) Your package will ship out from our warehouse in Bangalore within 2 business days.
3) From then on, it all depends on your location, normally it will be within 5 to 8 days from the date of order placement.
4) Our warehouse team takes a much deserved vacation on weekends and national/regional holidays, so orders placed on those days will be shipped within the following 2 business days.
Unfortunately right now we don’t offer express shipping , however please send an email to hello@mokobara.com and we will see what we can do.
Incase we are able to do express shipping we will charge a nominal express shipping fee of Rs 500.
30 day free-trial and returns
Our 30 days risk free trial is designed to build your trust in us and remove any barriers to online shopping.
We know you will love your Mokobara and it will inspire you to take that much needed vacation so we offer 30 days trial to help you try our product.
If at any point in those first 30 days you decide it’s just not for you , we will give you a full refund for free - no questions asked.
Please note that 30 days trial is not applicable on personalised products.
We will be sad but will get over it , because we know that sometimes it just doesn’t work out.
The only catch is that we when you are returning the product back to us during the trial period, it needs to be securely packed, so that it doesn’t get damaged during the transit.
Please use our original box packaging along with the luggage storage bag. This will ensure that we receive the product back in a condition that makes the shipping back to us easy without any damage to the luggage.
PS : In case you send it without packing it securely we will not be able to accept returns.
We believe scratches on the luggage are part of your adventure , they tell a story of where all you have been.
So in that case we won’t be accepting the returns.
We cannot exchange one product for another – thank you for your understanding. Please initiate a return first on our website (link) and then place a new order for the one you want.
(Note : We do not adjust the amount paid from your 1st order for the requested exchanged product.)
Please note that the 30-day trial period does not start over if you exchange your item. If you end up returning your order, you’ll only have the remainder of your original 30-day trial to do so.

Order can be cancelled anytime before it is shipped, once it is shipped it cannot be cancelled.
Regarding any changes to the order, the order needs to be cancelled and a new order has to be placed.

Sorry, we're currently not accepting Cash on delivery orders. Right now, our delivery processes do not allow for cash on delivery.

Once you have initiated a return/exchange on our website, we will confirm the pickup date and time. Our delivery partners will pick up the orders from you and the luggage will be checked against the trial and return policies. Upon successful verification, an exchange or refund will be initiated.
Depending on the mode of payment and bank policies we will take 10 to 12 working days to credit the refund money to your account.
In case it is taking longer than 10 to 12 working days , please drop an email to hello@mokobara.com and we will fix it as soon as possible.
Please note that return will be accepted only with the original packaging.
Luggage from premium brands face a lot of markups as they sell through retailers and distributors each taking their own margin before a bag even gets to the market.
The end result: overpriced luggage at 4 times the cost to make the luggage.
At Mokobara we only use premium materials and since we sell directly to you , our luggage doesn’t have all the middlemen markups driving up the price , so we can get you the only luggage you will ever need at a significantly lower price.

Mokobara plans to offer luggage for purchase in other select, top secret locations around the country. Watch out for future announcements.
The Cabin Luggage has an estimated weight of 3.27 kgs.
At Mokobara , designing a suitcase that is lightweight yet made with quality components was very important to us.
Most companies that only aim to be the lightest will generally use cheaper parts and materials, such as brittle shell materials that break on impact, plastic parts that crack or warp over time, cheap wheel bearings that are overly noisy, and thinner or cheaply cast metals that don’t stand up to heavy use.
Our luggage has a difference in quality you can feel – from the handles right down to the inner lining fabric – all while staying competitively light.
Luggage capacity is best defined in liters and our cabin luggage can hold approx 43 liters.
We designed our luggage big enough to fit everything for a 6 to 8 days adventure but small enough to fit in the overhead bin of all major airlines. It’s designed to travel the world, just like you.
Airplanes are huge, we should hope so. The Cabin Luggage will fit comfortably (almost) in any overhead compartment of any airline in the world. We have tested it ourselves in all the major airlines like Indigo , Vistara , Spice Jet , Cathay Pacific , Singapore Airlines.
The only planes where it might not fit are those super tiny regional jets that barely fly over 10,000 feet (which are terrifying).
Yes it is bigger because we have sized our cabin luggage to the perfect. Often again to cut costs on the product, majority of the brands sell smaller cabin luggage sizes whereas the airlines restrictions allows for extra squeeze in the luggage size limit.
Blame the other brands for always selling the smallest cabin luggage possible to save on the cost.
We don’t offer power bank in our luggage.
We have a dedicated pocket inside the luggage to hold your power bank and USB port (along with the TSA lock) on the outside to keep you connected at all times during travel.
Yes , it is allowed in the cabin bag and do not require airline approval.
If in case you want to check in your bag then you will have to open the luggage and remove the powerbank/battery.
Our shell is almost impossible to break as it is made of German grade Makrolon Polycarbonate.
Our interior lining is made of 150 Denier polyester with foam backing.
Water-resistant, but not 100% waterproof!
Our laundry bag is water resistant but not 100% waterproof. We recommend not putting soaked laundry in it.
Warranty
Yes , our luggage is designed to last , that’s why our products are backed by a 6 year warranty.
We love our products. If anything breaks, we’ll fix or replace it for you.
PS : Airline damage not included.
What this 6 year warranty covers :
- Cracks or breaks in the shell
- Wheels , handles , or or telescoping handles that break off or are no longer usable
- Zippers that can no longer be opened or closed.
What this lifetime limited warranty does not cover:
“Cosmetic Damage” which is defined as scratches, dents, dings, scuffs, stains, colour changes, normal wear and tear (including inner fabric), technological obsolescence, or other non-functional changes in the appearance of the product that occur during normal handling and use of luggage by any party and which do not impair the functionality of the product as luggage.
Replacement of any non-defective parts in the luggage (if only one part is defective, we will only replace the defective part).
Damage determined by us to be due to intentional abuse, modification, tampering, and/or alteration beyond what could be considered normal handling and use.
In the event of a claim:
If a part breaks off or is no longer usable, we will ship you a replacement part (as applicable), with simple instructions for installation.
We will ship you replacement luggage, at our discretion, if defective components cannot be repaired or replaced. Replacement luggage may be in a colour or pattern different from your original purchase, and we cannot guarantee exact replacement of limited edition, discontinued, or out-of-stock items. We only guarantee that the replacement luggage will be of equal or greater retail value to your original purchase.
Your only responsibility will be the cost of shipping your defective luggage back to us.
Evidence of defects will need to be provided to us as requested.
What will void this lifetime limited warranty:
We reserve the right to void this warranty if we determine a claim to be dishonest or fraudulent.
